For individuals
You do not need a company or a foundation to help. Four things one person can do.
Refer a student
Know a student who turned down a lab because it did not pay? Send them the application. Most of the students we fund heard about us from one person.
Mentor a funded student
Scientists, clinicians, analysts, and graduate students can mentor a funded student for an hour a month: reading a draft, talking through a next step, or making an introduction. Write to us with your field and the time you can give.
Share the evidence
Most people have never priced an unpaid summer. Send someone the hidden cost page or the partner brief. The press kit has our facts and logo.
Give
We raise most of our money from companies and grant programs, because one company gift covers one whole position. Individuals who want to give can write to us and we will explain the options.
Work with us
Students can join the team. The jobs are company outreach, grant writing, student review, and editorial work.

Fund a position
Pay a summer of rent and living costs for a student who holds an unpaid research position.
Fund a paper
Cover the journal fee that stands between finished student work and a published article.
Host or mentor a student
Labs can host a funded student. Scientists at partner companies can mentor one.
For companies and foundations
Fund a student researcher
Your gift pays for rent, a stipend, books, or a journal fee. It goes to a student who has the position and lacks the money to take it.
