Our students hold research positions at 12 US universities: Stanford, UChicago, Harvard, MIT, Northwestern, USC, NYU, UNC-Chapel Hill, Boston University, Boston College, Northeastern, and Davidson.

Why these campuses

At the Ivy-Plus colleges, the Ivy League plus Stanford, MIT, Duke, and UChicago, 14.5 percent of students come from families in the top 1 percent of income. Only 13.5 percent come from the entire bottom half, and 3.8 percent from the bottom fifth.¹

The same study found that low-income and high-income students who attend the same college go on to earn about the same.¹ The campus works for a low-income student who can use what it offers. Research is one of the things it offers, and many colleges still rely on unpaid student researchers.²
