Who should apply
- You are a high school or college student
- You hold an offer for a research position, or you are already in one
- The position pays nothing, or less than it costs you to take it
- Your work is in the health sciences, the life sciences, or health economics
What to have ready
- The lab, your mentor's name, and the institution
- The dates
- A short description of the research
- What you need covered and a rough cost for each item

The application
After you apply
A student on our review team reads your application. We may contact the lab to confirm the position. We fund as many students as the money we have raised allows, so apply early and apply to your campus fund too.
For companies and foundations
Fund a student researcher
Your gift pays for rent, a stipend, books, or a journal fee. It goes to a student who has the position and lacks the money to take it.
